|| Unemployment numbers came in higher than expected last week, with 428,000 new claims. ||

Unexpectedly.

Experts were predicting unemployment claims to drop to 420,000 last week,

But as they always are, the new jobless numbers were “unexpectedly” high last week.

The number of Americans seeking unemployment came in at 428,000.

The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits was mostly unchanged last week, evidence that the struggling economy isn’t generating many jobs.

Unemployment benefit applications ticked down 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 428,000, the Labor Department said Thursday.

Applications have topped 400,000 for 12 straight weeks.

The joke is on the economic prognosticators.

With President Obama focused like a laser beam on golf and fundraising,

Few Americans expect unemployment claims to drop significantly anytime soon.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. - Ephesians 6: 12-13
