Is Barney Frank Going Down?

Going Down?
Coming close on the heels of Charlie Rangel’s censure,
Maxine Waters Congressional Ethics trial might wind up even more damaging for House Democrats.
Ed Morrissey over at Hot Air has all of the twists and turns of the Waters case in his Friday post;
“House Ethics committee targeting Finance next?”
What I found very interesting in that post was the following comment by current House Financial Services Committee Chairman, Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank.
Frank said on Tuesday that the concern about late-arriving documents is news to him.
“When I received the Ethics Committee’s 2009 request, I instructed my staff to turn over every document in personal office and committee files. I have every reason to believe they did that,” Frank said yesterday.
When Barney Frank feels unjustly attacked,
He viciously fights back.
But when barney Frank is in the wrong, and knows so…
Like with marijuana or the prostitution ring…
His instinct is to feign cluelessness pass the blame off to others.
With the Waters/OneUnited scandal,
Barney Frank seems to be passing the buck.

It amazes me that the OneUnited scam, which Barney implemented on Waters’ behalf, has not caused more political damage. The voters of MA-4– especially those in Newton, Brookline and New Bedford–continue to ignore his shameful ethics and ill-conceived legislation. Three decades of “habit voting” is difficult to reverse. Sean Bielat fell ten points short in his first bid to unseat Barney…let’s hope that, if Barney somehow manages to stay out of prison and there is a rematch, he can make up that gap.
Give it some time, things move slowly in Washington.
Barney Frank should be jailed.
Just ask all the middle-class Americans dealing now with foreclosure.
Sorry to say this but Mass. deserves everything it gets from re -electing Frank , the voters could have changed the political envirement, but because of the libral stranglehold and the fear of change and fairness to voters, you Screwed Yourselves.
Barney Frank
Its the best that the Mass 4th district can do.
