Rep. Nick Rahall, Democrat WV

|| Rep. Rahall had no comment on the Easter Bunny. ||

Talkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.

Sometimes you just have to say to yourself;

How the heck do these guys get elected?

While trying to “prove” that Global Warming exists,

West Virginia Rep. Rahall compared it to an imaginary figure.

Santa Claus.

So Congressman Nick Joe Rahall (D-WV) made a rookie mistake (for a guy who has been around as long as he has).  He went off-prompter.  And here is what he delivered:

Climate changeto deny it exists, to just put your head in the sand and, ‘oh no, it doesn’t exist, what are you talking about,’ is about like standing on the floor of Macy’s during the month of December and claiming Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Come on, get real.”

Let’s stipulate that by this Rahall means the Man-made warming theory, for which ”climate change” has become the more politically utilitarian shorthand since “global warming” faded.  Because no one actually denies climate change.  That’s what it does.  Always has, always will.

I could not think of a better way to put it…

An imaginary, yet benevolent figure,

Who gives gifts to good little boys and girls all over the world.

You hit that one right on the head Rep. Rahall – Thanks!

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. - Ephesians 6: 12-13
