Obama’s First Rat

Obama’s First Rat.
Former Obama Car Czar Steven Rattner is out with a new tell all book.
His book Overhaul is the first tell-all book of the Obama Administration and it does not paint a very flattering picture of the President or his Advisers.
“Suddenly I felt that I was indeed in the presence of a community organizer…”
Rattner goes on to charge that rather than looking to solve an economic catastrophe, the Obama team was constantly looking for ways to score political points.
Rattner describes presidential political adviser David Axelrod coming to car meetings armed with poll data to support the takeover and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel identify Congressmen in whose districts large Chrysler facilities were located.
President Obama came dangerously close to adding Bank of America and Citigroup to its collection of government owned companies.
Unlike others in the Obama Administration, Rattner takes the exact opposite of the Blame Bush strategy.
“If his team had linked arms with the outgoing administration, as President Bush’s advisers had proposed, billions of dollars could well have been saved.”
Obama brought a definite bias into the Auto Crisis. Again, rather than working on solving an economic crisis, the President would continually bash the American car companies.
“Why can’t they make a Corolla?“
Stay tuned, I am sure there are plenty more delicious details to be revealed from this soon to be political bestseller.
