"Two weeks ago nobody knew his name."

Joe Who?

Two weeks ago, very few people outside of Alaska knew who he was.

A week ago, Joe Miller was embroiled in controversy; did he actually squeak out a victory over 2 term Senator Lisa Murkowski?

Yes he did!

And today, he is the frontrunner in the Alaska Senate race.

In Rasmussen Reports’ first look at the U.S. Senate race in Alaska, Republican newcomer Joe Miller holds a six-point lead over Sitka Mayor Scott McAdams.

The latest statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Miller attracting 50% of the vote, while McAdams earns support from 44%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate and two percent (2%) are undecided.

Unexpectedly for a tea Party candidate, Miller is behind among Independents.

McAdams holds a 22-point lead among voters not affiliated with either major political party.

Expect those numbers to change as voters get to know Joe.

It’s Miller Time in Alaska!

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. - Ephesians 6: 12-13
