Obama Sides with Muslims, Against Americans

"Just hanging with my homies."

Once again clueless.

Once again against the will of the people.

In remarks prepared for delivery at a White House dinner celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Obama said all Americans have the right to worship as they choose.

Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.”

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances, Obama said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.”

Mr. President, if you could pull yourself away from your vacation long enough to understand the issue you would no that no one wants to deny Muslims the right to practice their religion in this country.

No one has mentioned it.

No one has considered it.

It is not part of the discussion.

Mr. President, if you would like just this one time to be on the side of the American people (rather than always opposing them) you would take a cue form the Governor of New York and ask the Cordoba Initiative to move the Ground Zero Mosque a few blocks further away from the that “hallowed ground“.

If this mosque is built, I think Nathan’s should move their annual hot dog eating contest w/in a stone’s throw of the building. Of course, like “Cordoba” (don’t get me started), they would need to secure the necessary permits and comply with local laws and ordinances first.

We’re still free to eat hot dogs, right…or has Michelle Obama banned them already? I don’t know, but I do know this:

If Nathan’s follows my suggestion, I will start buying their products immediately. The heartburn will be worth it.

Right wing sides with Stalin tactics – wants government to decide where and when something can be built.
Okay, that is rhetoric. But so is yours.
Obama sides with American values. He also sides with people building a center to be built on private property. Are you opposed to building on private property?
And, yes, this is about religion. You hate Muslims. You hate Islam. And now your hatred of them has made you hate American values.

You are a moron. You know nothing about me, my beliefs or what I stand for.

      JUST MOVE THE DAMN MOSQUE!

Then why do you want it moved? What about the 9/11 families that support it? I mean ultimately this is about American values. Is hallowed ground only for some Americans but not others? This is not a terrorist center that is being built. Unless you think all Muslims are terrorists. And if you do then one would have to conclude you hate Muslims. Seems pretty straightforward to me. [And it is not being built literally at Ground Zero]. There is a lot in a 2 block radius and some you may not like. Some I may not like. But this is America. I say put together a huge fund drive and put a Christian church center one block from Ground Zero. I’m all for that.

Don’t you mean your values? American values are reflected in the 68% of Americans and the 61% of New Yorkers who want the Mosque away from the “hallowed ground” of Ground Zero.

No, that reflects current American “opinion”. American “values” are defined by your constitution. And your constitution allows freedom of religion. ALL religions.

Read the post pinhead, no one is denying them the freedom to practice their religion.

It’s disappointing to see the American Right Wing venting their hatred of anyone who is not like them. They mask their thin veneer of racist hatred of Obama behind “concerns” about America. But what cracks me up about the American Right Wing is how they say they are “christians”. Well, I don’t what God they’re praying to but it’s not the same God as the rest of us. I don’t remember reading in the bible that being racist, bigoted hate filled idiot is a good thing. I don’t remember reading in the bible that hating someone just because of skin colour or religious belief is a good thing either. Why can’t the American right wing just admit they are racist bigots?

Classic. Every time a liberal loses an argument he or she screams racism. I gladly accept your surrender.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. - Ephesians 6: 12-13
